The Teatro Massimo di Palermo is set to present a New Year’s Eve concert featuring Carmen Giannattasio and Markus Werba.

The concert is set to be streamed on the Italian company’s Teatro Massimo WebTV and will feature music by Haydn, Mozart, Verdi, Wagner, Spontini, Lehar, Le Gaz Spoliansky, and De Curtis.

Omer Meir Wellber will conduct the evening showcase, which is set to begin at 5 p.m. Italian time.

Giannattasio recently performed at the Teatro Massimio and at the Teatro San Carlo di Napoli. She is expected to perform at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Staatsoper Hamburg, and Opera Australia in 2021.

Meanwhile, Werba recently performed at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma in “The Merry Widow” and “Zaide.” He is set to appear at the Bolshoi Theatre and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.
