The Teatro la Fenice has announced five streaming concerts for the month of November.

The series will begin on Nov. 14 with cellist Mario Brunello performing Haydn’s Cello Concert no. 1 alongside the Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice. Brunello will also lead the orchestra in music by Mozart and Haydn.

On Nov. 15, the chorus of the Teatro La Fenice will perform the Requiem by Alfred Schnittke. The chorus will be joined by soloists Anna Malvasio, Andrea Lia Rigotti, Alessia Pavan, Gabriella Pellos, and Salvatore De Benedetto.

On Nov 21, the Teatro la Fenice will present the Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini. Soloists include Carmela Remigio, Sara Mingardo, Antonio Poli, and Alex Esposito.

To celebrate Santa Cecilia, the orchestra will perform a special concert on Nov. 22.

The final concert in the series will be led by Myung-Whun Chung, who will conduct Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. The concert will showcase soloists Laura Aikin, Anke Vondung, Michael Schade, and Thomas Johannes Mayer.
