Carmela Remigio, Antonio Poli & Alex Esposito Highlight Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s Digital Concerts

The Teatro dell’opera di Romas has announced its December programming for its Teatro Digitale.

The theater announced that in addition to the opening night production of “Il Barbiere di Siviglia,” the company will present three concerts via its YouTube channel.

The series opens with Daniele Gatti conducting Bach’s Overture No. 2 for flute and orchestra with Matteo Evangelisti, Ravel’s “Le Tombeau de Couperin” and Stravinsky’s “Pulcinella.” The concert will also showcase Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, Antonio Poli, and Alex Esposito.

The concert will be broadcast on YouTube and web tv ANFOLS.

Streaming Date: Dec. 4, 2020

The second concert in the series will showcase Michele Mariotti conducting R. Strauss’s Divertimento per piccola orchestra,” Gluck’s “Danza degli spiriti” from “Orfeo ed Euridice” and Mozart’s “Piccola Symphony.

Streaming Date: Dec. 11, 2020

The final concert will showcase Daniele Gatti and Carmela Remigio in a program that will include Don Giovanni’s Overture, Beethoven’s “Ah, Perfido!” and Mozart’s Prague Symphony.
