By Francisco Salazar

The Teatro la Fenice is set to livestream Rossini’s “La Petite Messe Solennelle” on Nov. 21.

The company will stream the work on La Fenice’s YouTube page and on Ansa and webpages anfols.it, agis.it e giornaledellamusica.it. The performance will be conducted by Claudio Marino Moretti and will feature soprano Carmela Remigio, contralto Sara Mingardo, tenor Antonio Poli, and bass Alex Esposito.

The piece will also showcase pianists Alberto Boischio and Raffaele Centurioni and harmonia player Roberto Brandolisio.

The concert will be performed with no audience due to the pandemic, which has forced all Italian theaters to close. It is part of a four-concert series for the month of November, which has showcased La Fenice’s orchestra and chorus.
