Capella Alamire Postpones Concert Due to Winter Storm

By Francisco Salazar

Following a winter storm that hit the east coast, Capella Alamire  has postponed its concert to Friday Jan. 30.

The concert, which was originally set to take place on Jan. 25, 2026, will still be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Central St. Winchendon, Massachusetts.

The program, which is free to community, will consist of three “Glorias” abstracted from masses by Heinrich Isaac (c.1450-1517), Antoine de Févin (c.1470-c.1512), and an anonymous composer from the French court.

The ensemble’s director, Peter Urquhart, has taught at Brandeis, Harvard, and Boston Universities, while based at the University of New Hampshire.
