Canadian Opera Company to Present ‘Musical Flights’

The Canadian Opera Company Orchestra is set to present “Musical Flights” on Sept. 7, 2024.

The event, which will take place at The Drill Hall at Base31 in Picton, Ontario, will be conducted by Johannes Debus, and features soprano Midori Marsh, soprano Charlotte Siegel, tenor Matthew Cairns, and baritone Korin Thomas-Smith, all members of the Canadian Opera Company’s Ensemble Studio.

The program for “Musical Flights” will be a preview of the 2024-25 season and will showcase vocal excerpts from “Nabucco,” “Faust,” “Madama Butterfly,” “Eugene Onegin,” “Oklahoma!,” “My Fair Lady,” “West Side Story,” and “The Sound of Music.”
