Camille Ortiz, Tyler Nelson, Kathryn Bowden, Carlos Enrique Santelli Headline Opera Orlando’s 2022-23 Season

Opera Orlando has unveiled its 2022-23 season which includes three operas.

First up will be “The Magic Flute” in a production by Grant Preisser and choreography by Maxine Montilus. Chaowen Ting, in her company debut, conducts a cast starring Tyler Nelson, Kathryn Bowden, Brian James Myer, and Magdalena Kuzma.

Performance Dates: Oct. 28 & 30, 2022

“All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” will be directed by Grant Preisser and conducted by Andrew Minear.

Performance Dates: Dec. 23 & 24, 2022

The season draws to a close with a production of “The Daughter of the Regiment” in a production directed by Andrew Nienaber. Joshua Horsch conducts.

Soprano Camille Ortiz will make her debut alongside a cast of singers including Carlos Enrique Santelli, Peter Strummer, and Jenni Bank.

Performance Dates: April 21 & 23, 2023

The company will also present a series of events for the Opera Everlasting series.

Gabriel Preisser, Nathan Stark, and Brian James Myer will present “The Three Baritones” at Univesity Club of Winter Park.

Performance Dates: August 14-28, 2022

The company will also showcase a double bill of “Gianni Schicci” and “The Bill of Marriage” at the Bella Colina in Monteverde.

Performance Dates: March 31, 2023
