Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy Announces Finalists for International Vocal Competition

The Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy has announced the 14 finalists for its 2021 International Vocal Competition.

Finalists for the Professional Division include mezzo-sopranos Sevana Salmasi, Linsey Coppens, Emily Triegle, Megan Moore, and Cornelia Lotito; soprano Emily Blair; tenors Jonah Hoskins and Jose Simerilla Romero; and baritones Blake Denson and YoungJun Park.

In the Student Division, the finalists included soprano Magdalena Kuzma, bass-baritone Evan Lazdowski, soprano Mariss Moultrie, and bass Valerio Morelli.

Jury members include casting directors and opera agents from such organizations as ABAO Bilbao Opera, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Festival Amazonas de Opera, Sarasota Opera, Varna Opera, Encompass Arts, Piper Artists Management, Opera Hispanica, and Catapult Opera, among others.

The final is set for Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, at 12 p.m. EST. The winners will be subsequently announced at the conclusion of the performance, which audiences can view online via Camerata Bardi Vocal Academy’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
