C.I.C.L.O – Lousada International Lyric Singing Competition Announces First Edition

The C.I.C.L.O – Lousada International Lyric Singing Competition has announced its first edition.

The competition will take place between July 4 and 10, 2022 in Lousada, Portugal.

The event will be open to singers aged between 18 and 36-years-old and will have prizes totaling €14,000. There will be three main prizes and an audience award. The competition will also hand an award to the best pianist accompanist. Participants will have to perform during an eliminatory round, a semi-finals round, and a finals round and will have to perform two arias during each phase.

The jury will include Ana Paula Russo, André Cunha Leal, Aquiles Machado, Carmelo Corrado Caruso, Cesário Costa and Elisabete Matos.

CICLO aims to be a reference contest in the world of lyrical singing and is now open for registration.
