
Bulgaria Names New Minister of Culture
By Francisco SalazarPresident Rumen Radev of Bulgaria has appointed a new Minister of Culture.
In a signed decree on the dissolution of the 48th National Assembly on February 3, 203, the president made one change to his cabinet appointing Nayden Todorov as the new Minister of Culture replacing Velislav Minekov.
Todorov is considered one of the most talented contemporary Bulgarian musicians who has performed in Bulgaria, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany. He has conducted the Vratsa Philharmonic Orchestra, Vidin Philharmonic Orchestra, the North Israeli Symphony Orchestra, and the Plovdiv Opera and Philharmonic Orchestra.
He has also appeared with the Sofia Oper and the Sofia Philharmonic and has worked with such singers such as Samuel Ramey, Annalisa Rospigliosi, Lucas Meachem, Michael Spyres, as well as with Bulgarian singer Tsvetelina Vassileva.
