Bryn Terfel to Be Coach on ‘The Voice Wales’

Sir Bryn Terfel has been revealed as one of the coaches for ‘The Voice Wales.’

The news was announced via social media and noted that Terfel will take one of the famed red chairs.

The Voice Wales will be presented by Radio 1 DJ Sian Eleri and the Welsh-language version will become the 75th international adaptation of The Voice format.

The winner of the Welsh version will secure a 12-month mentoring scheme as well as further opportunities to perform on S4C programming. Contestants have until June 21 to apply.

This summer Terfel is set to perform concerts in Leipzig and at the Grange Park Opera. Next season he sings productions of “Tosca” in London and Munich.
