Bryn Terfel Returns to Carnegie Hall

By Francisco Salazar

Carnegie Hall is set to present a recital by Sir Bryn Terfel.

The bass-baritone returns to the Carnegie Hall stage with a distinctive mix of the music for which he is renowned. He will be joined by harpist Hannah Stone and pianist Annabel Thwaite for a program of Welsh songs and works by 19th- and 20th-century Welsh and British composers. There will also be a collection of songs by Schubert, Robert Schumann, and Debussy, as well as a selection from “Les Misérables.”

The recital is set to be held on Nov. 14, at the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.

In addition to this concert, this season, Terfel is set to perform at the Opernhaus Zürich, Royal Opera House, and the Grange Park Opera.
