Bryan Hymel & Weston Hurt Headline Austin Opera’s ‘Live from Indy Terrace’

Austin Opera will bring its summer programing to a close with two episodes of “Live from Indy Terrace” featuring baritone Weston Hurt and tenor Bryan Hymel.

“Live from Indy Terrace” is a free weekly online series produced by Austin Opera. It originally kicked off on Friday, March 20, 2020 and has showcased such artists as 2019 Metropolitan Opera National Council winner Elena Villalón, Will Liverman, and Lauren Snouffer presenting 30-minute musical programs spanning styles, centuries, and continents, among others.

The weekly series starts streaming at 3:00 p.m. Central time Friday afternoons on the Austin Opera Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo pages. The episode featuring Hurt is set for on July 31, while the one with Hymel will air on August 7, 2020.

The company has already announced plans to move forward with the show into the 2021 season. You can check it out on the company’s official website.
