
Brooklyn Arts Song Society to Present ‘Lost/Found III’
By Francisco SalazarThe Brooklyn Arts Song Society is set to present the New Voices finale “Lost/Found III.”
The concert, which will be held on June 1, 2025, will explore a brave new world of sonic possibilities in song.
The evening will include Katherine Balch’s “Phrases,” Fang Man’s Partridge Sky,” Samy Moussa’s “The Sick Rose,” Andrew Staniland’s “Execution Songs,” and Kate Soper’s “The Fragments of Parmenides.” The concert will also include the world premiere of Tonia Ko’s “Year of the Orchid.”
Sarah Brailey, Charlotte Mundy, and Kristin Gornstein will be the soloists with pianists Jeremy Chan, Mila Henry, and Nathaniel LaNasa, and double bassist Doug Balliett.
