The Brooklyn Art Song Society has announced that The Dichter Project will now take place online.

The event, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the Brooklyn Public Library, is now officially canceled due to the continued regulations set in place to minimize the spread of COVID-19. In lieu of that circumstance, the company will be showcasing a concert on May 14, 2020 featuring baritone Mario Diaz-Moresco and pianist Spencer Myer. Both artists are quarantined together and will join forces to take on music by Mahler, Schubert, Clara Schumann, and Robert Schumann.

The performance will be showcased on the company’s official Facebook page.

Diaz-Moresco has performed with such organizations as Chautauqua Opera, Central City Opera, and The Glimmerglass Festival, and was a a Stern Fellow at SongFest and a Vocal Fellow at the Ravinia Steans Music Institute.
