On March 18, 2023, Brooklyn Art Song Society will present “The Dichter Project: Joseph Von Eichendorff.”

Held at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, the program features “Liederkreis Op. 39” by Robert Schumann, as well as selections from Hugo Wolf’s “Eichendorff-Lieder.”

The artists are soprano Elisabeth Marshall, baritone Brandon Bell, bass-baritone William Socolof, and pianist Michael Brofman. This program is featured in WQXR’s Classical Around Town.

Tickets are available for $50 for this non-subscription event. BASS will continue in April with “New Voices Worldliness I” as they explore European Avant-Garde through composers such as Birtwistle, Reimann, and Saariaho.
