
Brooklyn Art Song Society to Present ‘Evidence of Things Not Seen’
By Francisco SalazarThe Brooklyn Art Song Society is set to close its Cycles series with “Evidence of Things Not Seen” on March 8, 2026.
The evening will showcase the largest and most ambitious work by Ned Rorem. Written over decades and premiered in 1997, this evening-length song cycle sets 36 texts by 24 writers and unfolds as a profound meditation on the human condition.
The evening will feature soloists soprano Sara LeMesh, mezzo-soprano Anna Laurenzo, tenor Daniel McGrew, and baritone Nathaniel Sullivan. At the piano are Mila Henry, Nana Shi, and Miori Sugiyama.
The evening will be held at the Roulette on Atlantic Avenue Brooklyn, NY.
