North Carolina’s Brevard Music Center has unveiled its plans for the 2025 summer festival. Here is a rundown of the classical vocal performances on offer.

The Janiec Opera Company of the Brevard Music Center will present “L’Elisir d’Amore” in a production directed by Dean Anthony and conducted by Emily Jarrell Urbanek.

Performance Dates: June 26 & 28, 2025

Pauline Viardot-Garcia’s “Cendrillon” takes the stage in a production directed by Dean Anthony. Joseph Mechavich conducts. The work will be presented in English.

Performance Dates: July 10, 2025

“The Magic Flute” also gets a production by Dean Anthony. Steven White conducts.

Performance Dates: July 24 & 26, 2025

There will also be “An Evening of Operetta.”

Performance Dates: July 31, 2025
