Washington Concert Opera is set to present Bellini’s “I Puritani” starting on June 26 via the company’s official streaming platform.

The recording of the opera will be available for repeat viewings up until July 26, 2021, and will be free for all who register in advance.

The opera will star Brenda Rae, René Barbera, Javier Arrey, and Musa Ngqungwana in the leading roles. The opera will be conducted by Anthony Walker and was performed at Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall in Alexandria, Virginia.

“It is an honor to be able to bring this performance to our patrons, and especially for free, during this still uncertain time,” Walker said in a press release.

The Washington Concert Opera is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary during the 2021-22 season, which will be announced in July 2021.
