Boston Early Music Festival Unveils 2023-24 Season

Boston Early Music Festival has unveiled its 2023-24 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

Ensemble I Gemelli under tenor Emiliano Gonzalez Toro will lead “A Room of Mirrors: Music by d’India, Marini, Frescobaldi, Calestani, and Gregori.”

Performance Date: Nov. 18, 2023

Next up is a presentation of John Frederick Lampe’s “The Dragon of Wantley.” Paul O’Dette and Stephen Stubbs conduct with Gilbert Blind directing.

Performance Date: Nov. 25 & 26, 2023

The Tallis Scholars will present “While Shepherds Watched: Music of Victoria, Clemens non Papa, Croce, and Obrecht.”

Performance Date: Dec. 8, 2023

Amanda Forsythe will headline a concert featuring music by Monteverdi, Rossi, Merula, Caccini, and others. Cristiano Contadin conducts.

Performance Date: Feb. 3, 2024

Paul O’Dette and Stephen Stubbs lead the BEMF Vocal and Chamber Ensembles in music by Marco Marazzoli.
