The Boston Baroque will continue its season with two-holiday programs.
Händel’s “Messiah” will be performed on Dec. 2 at GBH’s Calderwood Studio in Brighton and on Dec. 3rd at NEC’s Jordan Hall in Boston.
Music Director Martin Pearlman will be conducted and will star soprano Amanda Forsythe, mezzo-soprano Tamara Mumford, tenor Karim Sulayman, and baritone Roderick Williams. The Saturday performance will be streamed live on IDAGIO, and available to rent on-demand for 30 days following the stream.
The organization will then present a New Year’s Celebration on Dec. 31 at GBH’s Calderwood Studio, and on Jan. 1, 2023 at Harvard University’s Sanders Theatre. Soloists include Sonja Tengblad and Justin Bland.
