Bloomingdale School of Music Receives Bay and Paul Foundations Grant for Strategic Planning

By Logan Martell

Bloomingdale School of Music has announced that it has been awarded a $300K grant from the Bay and Paul Foundations.

Meant to support their strategic planning over the next three years, covering operations, HR, capital, and marketing initiatives through 2025, the grant follows a previous one received in 2020 for $350K which went towards their ROADMAP 2027 plan.

“As we approach Bloomingdale’s 60th anniversary, our goal is to ensure a strong infrastructure so that we can continue providing high-quality and accessible music education for another 60 years to come,” said Erika Atkins, Executive Director of Bloomingdale School of Music, in an official press statement. “The support we’ve received from Bay and Paul is critical to both this turning point for the organization and making our strategic vision plan, ROADMAP 2027, a success.”
