The Berlin State Opera has announced a cast change for its performance of “L’Elisir d’Amore” on March 9, 2022.

The company noted that Olga Peretyatko will take over the role of Adina for Hera Hyesang Park.

Peretyatko has performed the role of Adina at the Wiener Staatsoper, La Monnaie, and Opera de Lausanne, among others. This season she is scheduled to perform in Sydney, Berlin, Bologna, and Moscow in the operas of Donizetti Puccini, and Bizet. She is well known for her Bel Canto repertoire and has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera, and Teatro alla Scala.

Peretyatko joins a cast that includes Bogdan Volkov, Adam Kutny, and Erwin Schrott. Speranza Scappucci conducts the production by Percy Adlon.

Park returns to the production for the final performance on March 12, 2022.
