Berkshire Opera Festival Announces 2020 Opera

The Berkshire Opera Festival has announced its 2020 season.

The festival is set to present a new production of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” directed by co-founder Jonathan Loy and conducted by artistic director Brian Garman. The production will include scenic designs by Stephen Dobay, costumes by Charles Caine, and lighting Alex Jainchill.

The cast will be headed by André Courville in the title role, Erik Anstine as Leoporello, Laura Wilde as Donna Anna, Joshua Blue as Don Ottavio, Joanna Latini as Donna Elvira, John Cheek as Commendatore, Natalia Santaliz as Zerlina, and Brian James Myer as Masetto.

The production will open on August 22 and will be performed three times through August 28, 2020 at the Colonial Theatre in Massachusetts.
