Bel Canto in Tuscany Announces Fall 2022 Slate

Bel Canto in Tuscany has announced its fall 2022 slate.

The company kicks things off with “Prima della Prima,” a conversation on Verdi’s “Il Trovatore.” The event will take place at The Alexandria History Museum at the Lyceum in Alexandria, Virginia.

Giovanni Reggioli will lead the conversation. Joining him will be tenor Steven Murray, mezzo-soprano Cara Schaefer, and soprano Lyndsey Swann. The event kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Performance Date: Oct. 21, 2022

Next up is “Serata Lirica,” a concert in support of the Laura Pasqualetti Memoria Scholarship Fund. That event will feature past recipients of the award including Victoria Cannizzo (BCT ’16), Eugenia Forteza (BCT ’18), Karen Fried (’19), Cara Schaefer (BCT ’16), and Jim Williams (BCT ’22). The artists will perform music from the bel canto repertory.

That event is also set to take place at the Alexandria History Museum at the Lyceum in Alexandria, Virginia.
