‘Behemoth!’ to World Premiere at New York Film Festival

Tony Gilroy‘s new film, “Behemoth!” is set to world premiere at the New York Film Festival as the centerpiece selection.
The Searchlight film, which will hit theaters in December, will star Pedro Pascal as a gifted cellist, Alex Serian, who returns home to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road. Music, which has been the constant, all-consuming river of his life, begins to carry Alex on an adventure that will change him forever.
The film also stars Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, JoBeth Williams, Margarita Levieva, Hank Azaria and Will Arnett. Gilroy also produced the film alongside John Gilroy and Sanne Wohlenberg. Executive producers include Cameron Chidsey, Katie Goodson, DanTram Nguyen, Jeremy Reitz and Rayne Roberts.
In a statement, New York Film Festival artistic director Dennis Lim said, “We are delighted to present the world premiere of Tony Gilroy’s anticipated return to the big screen as this year’s NYFF centerpiece. There is so much to savor in this immaculately crafted film, from its creative use of music to its note-perfect ensemble cast. Holding it all together is a tour de force by Pedro Pascal, one of the performances of the year from one of our true movie stars.”
