BBC Radio 3 Announces New Generation Artists

The new project helps to support young musicians on the threshold of an international career to reach the next stage of their development. It brings some of the world’s most promising new talent to listeners across the UK through BBC Radio 3 broadcasts.
The artists for the 2023-25 season include British baritone James Atkinson, Irish mezzo Niamh O’Sullivan, and Swedish soprano Johanna Wallroth. Other artists include the European Chaos String Quartet, Kazakhstan pianist, Georgian pianist Giorgi Gigashvili, an UK pianist Michael Pandya.
The New Generation Artists is a project run by BBC Radio 3 that was originally launched in 1999 and has also featured such artists as Hugh Cutting, Konstantin Krimmel, Benjamin Appl, Emma Bell, Sally Matthews, and Christopher Maltman, among others.
