On Dec. 23 the Bayerische Staatsoper will present its new production of “Il Trittico” on its award-winning live stream service.

The new production by Lotte de Beer stars Eva-Maria Westbroek and Yonghoon Lee in “Il Tabarro” and Ermonela Jaho in her signature role as “Suor Angelica.” Michaela Schuster is the villainous Princess.

The evening caps off with Ambrogio Maestri in the title role of “Gianni Schicchi.” Rosa Feola is Lauretta and Pavol Breslik star is Rinniccio. Schuster and Jennifer Johnston also appear.

Music director Kirill Petrenko conducts the production which begins at 7 pm local time. The company will then showcase the live stream on Demand from Dec. 24 to the 25.

The Bayerische Staatsoper is also scheduled to present “Die Walküre,” “Les Vêpres siciliennes” with Bryan Hymel and Carmen Giannattasio, and “Parsifal” with Jonas Kaufmann, René Pape, and Nina Stemme on its live stream series.
