Bayerische Staatsoper Announces New Venue for Oper fur Alle’s ‘Aida’

The Bayerische Staatsoper has announced its “Oper für alle” concert will take place indoors at the Nationaltheater.

The company announced that due to bad weather forecasts, the July 17 performance of “Aida” will no longer take place outdoors at the Marstallplatz, as originally planned.

Ticket holders will be contacted by the State Opera ticket office by email and can easily exchange and print out the tickets via a link sent by the theater. Audience members will either be required to be tested, vaccinated, or recovered from COVID-19in order to enter the National Theater.

“Aida” is set to star Krassimira Stoyanova in the title role, Fabio Sartori as Radames, Judit Kutasi as Amneris, Dmitry Belosselskiy as Ramfis, and Amartuvshin Enkhbat as Amonasro. Zubin Mehta will conduct the evening.
