The Bayerische Staatsoper has announced an additional performance for the upcoming world premiere of “7 Deaths of Maria Callas.”

The company announced via social media that the additional performance will be held on April 13, 2020 at 3 p.m.

The opera, which is created by Marina Abramović is set to make its world premiere on April 11, 2020 and will star Marina Abramović, Willem Dafoe, Nadezhda Karyazina, Whitney Morrison, Leah Hawkins, Adela Zaharia, Selene Zanetti, Gabriella Reyes, and Hera Hyesang Park. Yoel Gamzou conducts the work.

The work will be presented four times in Munich with two performances already sold out.

“7 Deaths of Maria Callas” will make its way to the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Greek National Opera in June and July.
