The event begins at 7:00 p.m. ET, on December 31, 2021, with the London fireworks, followed by an audience participatory presentation of the opera. At 10:30, the party kicks into top gear with party music, hors  d’ouevres, and a champagne toast to ring in 2022.

Featured artists include baritone and Barn’s assistant director, Nicholas Tocci as Captain Corcoran, soprano Natalie Polito as Josephine Corcora, Barn Opera’s artistic director and tenor, Joshua Collier as Ralph Rackstraw, baritone Laurence Weissbrot as Sir John Porter, mezzo-soprano Brooke Larimer as Little Buttercup, and baritone Jeremiah Johnson as Dick Deadeye. Assistant music director, composer, and pianist Felix Jarrar, will accompany.
