The Lyric Chamber Music Society of New York and Bare Opera will join forces for the fourth straight year to present “Love, Russian Style” at the Kosciusko Foundation on Feb. 10, 2020.

The showcase, starring soprano Meryl Dominguez, tenor SungWook Kim, bass Paul An, mezzo-soprano Briana Hunter, and pianist Dina Pruzhansky, will be comprised of music by  Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Rimsky-Korsakov, Pruzhansky and Dubuque, among others.

“The singers were all enthusiastic, and I think they took it as a great opportunity to work with Dina Pruzhansky, who is a wonderful pianist and composer, and an expert on Russian music,” Bare Opera’s artistic director Laetitia Ruccolo in a press release. This is the first time the company has produced an all-Russian program.

The Lyric Chamber Music Society of New York debuted in 1998 and has been at the forefront of presenting chamber music and other cutting-edge repertory in an intimate salons setting.
