The Academy of Vocal Arts is set to present Donizetti’s “Anna Bolena”

The opera will be presented on Nov. 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, and 28 2023 and will be sung in Italian with English supertitles

The opera will be conducted by Steven White ad directed by Christopher Mattaliano.

The cast will include Monique Galvão (Nov 11, 16 and 28) and Jenny Anne Flory (Nov 14, 18, and 21) as Giovanna Seymour; Lydia Grindatto (Nov 11, 16 and 28) and Manli Deng (Nov 14, 18, and 21) as Anna Bolena; Alla Yarosh (Nov 11, 16 and 28) and Ariana Maubach (Nov 14, 18, and 21) as Smeton; Dylan Gregg (Nov 11, 16 and 28) and Cumhur Görgün (Nov 14, 18, and 21) as Enrico; and Angel Raii Gómez (Nov 11, 16 and 28) and Matthew Goodheart (Nov 14, 18, and 21) as Riccardo Percy.

The cast will be rounded out by Shawn Roth, Joshua Berg, Nan Wang, and Yue Wu.
