Austin Opera to Present ‘La Bohème’ with Joshua Blue & Brittany Olivia Logan

Austin Opera’s 40th Birthday Season is set to conclude with  Puccini’s “La Bohème.”

The opera will be performed at the Long Center for four performances between April 30 and May 3, 2026.

The work will star tenors Joshua Blue and Demetrious Sampson, Jr as Rodolfo  and sopranos Brittany Olivia Logan and Maria Brea as Mimi. They will be joined by baritone Troy Cook as Marcello and soprano Jasmine Habersham as Musetta.

Austin native Eboni Adams makes her company debut as director while Timothy Myers leads the Austin Opera Orchestra & Chorus.

This season the company presented “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Celebrate Opera!” in November.
