Aural Compass Projects Will Present ‘New Works, New Voices’

Aural Compass Projects will present “New Works, New Voices” on November 5, 2022 at Opera America in New York City.

The concert will spotlight top five composers from the company’s Second Annual Emerging Composers Competition.

Audiences will hear music by Anruo Cheng, Charlie Carroll, Zach Gulaboff Davis Jane Koshevnikova and Daniel DeTogni.

Also on the program will be two selections from Jasmine Barnes’ “Songs for the African Violet” for soprano, cello and piano interpreted by soprano Carami Hilaire.

Additionally, mezzo-soprano Heather Jones, soprano Rachel Mikol, cellist Rocío Diaz de Cossio, and pianist Michael Lewis will present an hour of new music.
