Aundi Marie Moore, Talise Trevigne, Danielle Talamantes, Solomon Howard Headline National Philharmonic’s 2023-24 Season

The Maryland-based National Philharmonic has announced its 2023-24 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

First up is “Anhelos Universales,” which features baritone Juantomás Martínez Yépez. Eugene Rogers conducts the program which features music by James Lee III and Antonio Estévez.

Performance Date: Nov. 5, 2023

Next up is Händel’s “Messiah” featuring Anthony Blake Clark, Aundi Marie Moore, Lucia Bradford, Norman Shankle, and Jorell Williams. Piotr Gajewski conducts the performance, which also features the Baltimore Choral Arts Society.

Performance Date: Dec. 16 & 17, 2023

 Soprano Talise Trevigne will perform George Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “Lilacs.” The program also features “Tales of Hemingway” and Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.” Piotr Gajewski conducts.

Performance Date: March 9, 2024

Soprano Danielle Talamantes will perform in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony, under the baton of Piotr Gajewski. The performance also features Mozart’s 24th piano concerto with Claire Huangci as the soloist.

Performance Date: April 6, 2024

 Eugene Rogers presents a concert featuring choral works by Beethoven, Lili Boulanger, and Stravinsky. The concert features soprano Colleen Daly, mezzo-soprano Magdalena Wor, tenor Nicholas Music, and bass Solomon Howard.

Performance Date: May 11, 2024
