Artur Ruciński Headlines Polish New Year’s Concert

Artur Ruciński is set to highlight a New Year’s gala on Jan. 1, 2021.

The gala, which will be streamed at 17:00 local Polish time, will be held at the Mazowiecki Teatr Muzyczny and will showcase the Warsaw Philharmonic and Orchestra Symphony Viva. The concert will be conducted by Maestro Tadeusz Kozłowskie and will also feature soprano Joanna Woś, mezzo-soprano Monika Ledzion – Porczyńska, and tenor Arnold Rutkowski.

The program is set to include arias from opera, operetta, and musicals including “Carmen”, Il Tovatore,” “Turandot,” “The Merry Widow,” “Princess Czardasza,” and “The Wizard of Oz,” among others.

Tickets are on sale on Bilety 24.

The concert will be performed without an audience due to health regulations from the Polish government in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
