Arts Empowering Life to Present ‘Opera Gala’

Arts Empowering Life will present an “Opera Gala” at the Performing Arts Center in Brewster, MA on August 10 and 11, 2024.

The showcase will feature excerpts from “The Barber of Seville,” “Don Carlo,” “They Merry Widow,” “Carmen,” “Tannhäuser,” “Pagliacci,” “Serse,” “Lakmé,” “The Magic Flute,” “La Traviata,” “Rigoletto,” and “Turandot.”

Soloists on the program include Andrew Nolen, David Adam Moore, Limmie Pulliam, Margaret Lattimore, and Martha Peterson. The soloists will be led by conductor Richard K. Pugsley.

Per its official website, “Arts Empowering Life (AEL) is a non-profit Arts foundation from Cape Cod, MA, dedicated to the pursuit of beauty, truth, and faith in the Arts, sharing inspiration and education with people across many nationalities, cultures, and traditions. AEL incorporates both performing ensembles and visual artists who have toured to twenty-six countries and throughout the United States performing at the highest levels, leading workshops, and fostering cultural exchanges.”
