Arte.TV is set to present Puccini’s “Tosca” from the Salzburg Festival starring Anna Netrebko.

The revival production by Michael Sturminger will be streamed on August 27, 2021. The production will also star Yusif Eyvazov and Ludovic Tézier and will be conducted by Marco Armiliato. The production will also feature Wiener Philharmoniker and Konzertvereinigung Wiener Staatsopernchor.

The production will reunite the three soloists after performing the opera in 2020 at the Teatro San Carlo di Napoli. The work was subsequently streamed on DG Stage. It will also see the soprano return to the title role following productions at the Teatro Real, Mariinsky Theatre, Wiener Staatsoper, Metropolitan Opera, and Teatro alla Scala.

Netrebko has performed numerous productions at the Salzburg Festival including “Aida,” “La Boheme,” “La Traviata,” “Il Trovatore,” and “Romeo et Juliette,” among others.

“Tosca” opens on August 21 and runs through the 31.
