The Art Song Colorado Competition has opened applications for its upcoming competition held on April 28.

The competition offers a chance to sing for industry professionals, compete for cash prizes, as well as secure future performance opportunities including a solo recital on Art Song Colorado’s 2024-2025 season. Selected singers will also be considered for the Ovation West Performing Arts and Art Song Colorado’s singer rosters.

There are two categories, “Avocational Singer” and “Emerging Professional Singer.” Participants must be 13, however there are no upper-age restrictions.

Applicants must submit one prescreening video and a proposal for a creative art song recital program by March 4 to be considered.
