
Ars Lyrica Houston Announces Series of Education & Community Initiatives for March 2026
By David SalazarArs Lyrica Houston has announced a series of education and community initiatives across Greater Houston in March 2026, expected to reach more than 3,000 local residents.
Ars Lyrica makes its Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo debut with “Maria’s Magical Music Adventure,” an original children’s program pairing live Baroque string quartet with narration, culminating in selections inspired by Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons.”
Performance Date: March 3, 2026
Mezzo-soprano Cecilia Duarte, percussionist Jesús Pacheco, and guitarist Richard Savino present “Orígenes: Voice and Percussion Through the Ages” at the Theater District Open House at the Hobby Center. The bilingual program explores music from the Renaissance to the present rooted in Spanish and Latin American traditions.

Ars Lyrica brings “Maria’s Magical Music Adventure” to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion as part of The Pavilion’s Arts Break, a free Spring Break series for families.
Performance Date: March 17, 2026
Ars Lyrica joins the Heights Kids’ Day of Music at Love Park, and later that day presents “Maria’s Magical Music Adventure” at the Houston Public Library’s inaugural Sensory Festival at the Stimley-Blue Ridge Neighborhood Library.
