
Arizona Opera Announces Death of Colleague Jenny St. John

The company said, “We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Jenny St. John. For more than two decades, Jenny was an integral member of Arizona Opera’s fundraising team, helping to cultivate meaningful relationships and inspire extraordinary generosity that left a lasting impact on the company. She served as Vice President for External Affairs from 2005 to 2007 and remained a devoted supporter throughout her retirement as a fundraiser, trusted advisor, and cherished friend.”
Beyond her contributions to the Arizona Opera, St. John served as Vice President at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and, alongside her husband, Maestro Mischa Semanitzky, founded Music in the Mountains in Durango, Colorado.
