Buenos Aires-based opera company Juventus Lyrica is set to present a number of opera productions via its online platform.

The company will kick off its streaming options with a production of “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” from 2018. That production, which was adapted by María Jaunarena and conducted by Hernán Sánchez was co-produced with Fundación Konex as part of Vamos a la Ópera 2018.

The cast includes Gabriel Carasso as Figaro, Laura Penchi as Rosina, Sebastián Russo as Conte Almaviva, Roman Modzelewski as Don Bartolo, Walter Schwar as Don Basilio, and Cecilia Pérez San Martín as Berta.
