Arena di Verona Announces New Cast Changes for ‘Aida’

The Arena di Verona has announced cast changes for its production of “Aida” on June 25.

The company said that Monica Conesa will replace María José Siri and Yusif Eyvazov will be replaced by Angelo Villari.

Conesa made her debut at the Arena di Verona in 2022 singing the title role of “Aida” in Franco Zeffirelli’s production. Meanwhile, Villari will make his Arena di Verona debut in the role of Radames.

They will join a cast that includes Olseya Petrova, Alexander Vinogradov, and Roman Burdenko. Marco Armiliato conducts the new production by Stefano Poda.
