By Francisco SalazarThe Arena di Verona has announced a cast change for its production of Verdi’s “Aida” on June 20, 2025.
The company said that Gregoy Kunde will sing the role of Radames, replacing Luciano Ganci, who is ill.

Kunde is one of the leading tenors of his generation who has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera House, Teatro alla Scala, Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, and Bayerische Staatsoper.
The tenor is set to join a cast that includes Maria José Siri, Agnieszka Rehlis, Simon Lim, Alexander Vinogradov, and Amartuvshin Enkhbat.
