The Arena di Verona has announced its 2026 season.

The season will open with a new production of Verdi’s “La Traviata.” 

Michele Spotti and Francesco Ivan Ciampa conduct the new production starring Martina Russomanno, Gilda Fiume and Rosa Feola. The casts also include Yusif Eyvazov, Galeano Salas, Francesco Meli, René Barbera, Adam Smith, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Mihai Damian, Youngjun Park, Ludovic Tézier, and Luca Salsi.

Performance Dates: June 12-Sept. 12, 2026

Stefano Poda’s production of Verdi’s “Aida” will be presented. The production will star Abramo Rosalen, Simon Lim, Maria José Siri, Alessandra Di Giorgio, Yusif Eyvazov, Gregory Kunde, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Youngjun Park, Alexander Vinogradov, Agnieszka Rehlis, and Clémentine Margaine. Daniel Oren conducts.

Performance Dates: June 19-July 24, 2026

Verdi’s “Nabucco” will be revived in Stefano Poda’s production with Michele Spotti and Sebastiano Rolli conducting.

The casts will include Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Ludovic Tézier, Youngjun Park, Luca Salsi, Maria José Siri, Olga Maslova, Marta Torbidoni, Annalisa Stroppa, Anna Werle, Roberto Tagliavini, Simon Lim, Alexander Vinogradov, Christian Van Horn, Michele Pertusi, Galeano Salas, Francesco Meli, and Paolo Lardizzone.

Performance Dates: June 26-Sept. 9, 2026

Puccini’s “La Bohème” will be revived with Eleonora Buratto and Carolina López Moreno leading the casts. They will be joined by Francesca Pia Vitale, Enkeleda Kamani, Yusif Eyvazov, Mihai Damian, Alexander Roslavets, Jan Antem, and Nicolò Ceriani.

Franco Zeffirelli’s production of Verdi’s “Aida” will be showcased. Abramo Rosalen, Simon Lim, Mariano Buccino, Clémentine Margaine, Aleksandra Kurzak, Maria José Siri, Anna Netrebko, SeokJong Baek, Roberto Alagna, Yusif Eyvazov, Paolo Lardizzone, Youngjun Park, Ludovic Tézier, Christian Van Horn, Alexander Vinogradov, Gianluca Buratto, and Simon Lim lead the casts. Francesco Ommassini conducts.

Performance Dates: July 30-Sept 10, 2026

Puccini’s “Turandot” will be shown in Franco Zeffirelli’s production. Anna Pirozzi and Lise Lindström lead the casts alongside Roberto Tagliavini, Michele Pertusi, Brian Jagde, Yusif Eyvazov, Mariangela Sicilia, Lisette Oropesa, and Maria Agresta. Andrea Battistoni conducts.

Orff’s “Carmina Burana” will be performed with James Conlon conducting a cast that includes Erin Morley, Carlo Vistoli, and Mihai Damian.
