Apple Music Classical Partners With The Salzburg Festival

Apple Music Classical has partnered with the Salzburg Festival.

Listeners are offered exclusive audio recordings and playlists from the Salzburg Festival, both past and present. Spatial Audio’s remastering a number of iconic recordings from past Festivals, with the 2009 recital from Martha Argerich and Nelson Freire featured.

Festival officials commented in a press release that,”The Salzburg Festival with its more than 100 year history is very pleased to be able to present its unique line up of incredible productions, opera, concerts, recitals and chamber music on the newly created Apple Music Classical.” Adding, “The Salzburg Festival joins other partner organisations and musicians to offer Apple Music Classical listeners new, unique and exclusive content and recordings. These partners include the Berlin Philharmonic, Carnegie Hall, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, Opéra national de Paris, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony and the Vienna Philharmonic.”
