Apple to Launch Apple Music Classical App

By Logan Martell

Apple has announced Apple Music Classical, a new app specifically for classical music.

Launching later this month, the app will allow listeners to access recordings from the largest classical music catalog and in the highest audio quality reaching up to 192 kHz/24-bit Hi-Res Lossless. The app will also feature thousands of albums, curated playlists, composer biographies, guides for prominent works, digital portraits of famous composers, exclusive artwork, and more.

The app is available for pre-order and will be released on March 28, 2023. It can be purchased individually or added to an existing Apple Music subscription. It will be available worldwide, with the exception of China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, with those countries to follow at a later date.
