The Works & Process is set to present an Opening Night Cabaret featuring countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo to kick of the Spring 2020 Works and Process Season on Jan. 6, 2020.

For the opening night cabaret, Costanzo is set to go back to his roots before he was an opera singer. Costanzo will perform cabaret from when he was singing Broadway hits, moving from community theater to national tours, and eventually to the Great White Way. For the New York premiere of his cabaret, he Costanzo will revisit his childhood, drawing on the leading ladies, crooners, and icons that helped form him.

Developed with the Bearded Ladies Cabaret for Opera Philadelphia’s Festival O19, and directed by John Jarboe, the show will showcase musical arrangements by Heath Allen and Scenic design by Machine Dazzle.

The performance will be held at the Guggenheim Museum.
