Antonino Siragusa, Giuseppina Bridelli, Nicola Alaimo Headline Opera Streaming’s Final Two Streams of 2020

First up will be “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” from the Teatro Municipale, Piacenza. The showcase will feature Manuel Amati as Conte d’Almaviva, Marco Filippo Romano as Don Bartolo, Giuseppina Bridelli as Rosina, and Roberto de Candia as Figaro. Nikolas Nägele conducts a production by Beppe de Tomasi.

Next up will be Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” from the Teatro Comunale di Modena. Antonino Siragusa stars as Don Ramiro with Paola Gardina as Angelina. Nicola Alaimo appears as Don Magnifico and Nikolay Borchev interprets Dandini. Aldo Sisillo conducts.

Future streams will feature Monteverdi’s “Orfeo,” Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia,” Verdi’s “Aroldo,” Donizetti’s “La Favorite,” and Vivaldi’s “Il Farnace.”
